This atta flour is grown right here in WA and milled in a stone mill (Chakki) - atta flour differs from some other wholemeal flours in that non of the germ or bran is removed so this is an increadably healthy wholesome flour. This flour is very finely milled so perfect for Chapati, roti, naan & high rise wholemeal breads and sourdoughs . This flour is of an increadably high quality and only grown in limited quantites - there are not millions of acres of this wheat grown so highly prized!

The hard wheat used to make atta has a high gluten content which provides elasticity, so dough made out of atta flour is strong and can be rolled into thin sheets.
